View the elements’ structure. |
||
Click the Structure View icon. The Structure View window displays the hierarchy of the elements in the document. Elements are often nested within each other. For example, a Section element might include a Head element, a Paragraph element, and a List element; the List element, in turn, might include List Item elements. You can change the elements’ relationship to each other by dragging them in the Structure View window.
You can also use the Structure View window to identify elements that don’t meet the requirements of the document’s element definitions. If an element is missing a required child element, a red box appears on the vertical line where the missing element should be. If an element is in an invalid location, a dotted line appears from it to the end of the parent element. For more help identifying problems in the Structure View window, see the Adobe FrameMaker 7.0 User Guide.
