ITEDO Software has recently released updated CGM filters that can replace older versions that were installed with Adobe FrameMaker 5.5-7.2. The filters are relevant to FrameMaker users who commonly work with CGM, DXF, or IGS graphic formats. To allow FrameMaker users to work with the latest filter technology even between major releases, Adobe and ITEDO have agreed to provide access to new filters whenever they become available.

You can download updated CGM filters for Adobe FrameMaker 5.5-7.2 on Windows, Macintosh and Solaris from the ITEDO website at www.itedo.com/E/2040.php .

Alternatively, go to www.itedo.com , click Download in the left side menu, then click FrameMaker Filter.

Install updated CGM filters

To install updated CGM filters:

1. Download the ZIP archive and uncompress the files to a temporary folder.

2. Make backup copies of the original files to a different location. In case an error occurs you can always replace the original filters by using the backup copies (or by reinstalling from your FrameMaker product CD).

3. Copy the newer files (version 6.1.02) into the same directories where the original files reside that came with your FrameMaker product.
