Uninstalling FreeHand MX will remove the icons and preferences
Issue
After upgrading to FreeHand MX version 11.0.1, then uninstalling FreeHand MX version 11.0, user will encounter the following issues.
- Document icons are no longer displayed with FreeHand document icons.
- Panels are no longer barged in a single panel in the remaining application.
Reason
After removing the earlier version of FreeHand MX, the shared registry entries and preferences files are also removed.
Solution
Users must reinstall FreeHand MX version 11.0.1.
Note: There is no need to uninstall the existing application prior to installing. Installing over the existing application merely re-creates the registry entries and preference files.
