Photorealistic Effects
In this tutorial I’m going to demonstrate you how the almost photorealistic images can be created with adobe Photoshop.
First we will be doing some shapes with gradients and layer modes and then apply some filters and see what we’ll get out of all this.
But first we got to do is to create a new document.
I’ve practiced with some gradients here; I’ve just wanted to get out of these standard ones. As you can see i have a few of gradients on my Photoshop. So try to make this one.
Make just 1 stroke horizontally and then vertically.
THE FILLING MODE is set to HARD LIGHT.
Make the image a little bit sharper using The Unsharpened mask filter.
Then create a new layer and use my ornament brush to make pattern (then I thought that it will be a piece of material).
For my brush I’ve used dark red color, and the layer mode must be changed to hide the color against the white.
I’ve also did a little color overlaying.
Then I wanted to create some texture. I took one of my texture brushes or something), and made several strokes (on a new layer). The color is BLUE and the layer mode is Overlay. I’ve also doped a shadow using layer styles.
And there we have some material texture.
And now is the moment a happy accident had happened when I was trying to practice some filters.
I’ve applied this filter and saw that the effect is amazing.
And there we have it almost real vase make of water or ice.
Well, and this is it. Practice and try everything in every application possible.
