FreeHand 10.0.1 Macintosh System Requirements

Issue

While installing FreeHand 10 an error occurs reporting that Macintosh OS 9.1 or later is required.

Reason

The version of FreeHand 10 being installed is 10.0.1. This version was originally designed for Macromedia Studio MX, which had a minimum Macintosh system requirement of OS 9.1.

Solution

There are two options that can resolve this issue:

	Upgrade to Macintosh OS 9.1 or later.
	If using OS Version 8.x, an upgrade purchase may be required from Apple. Note: The purchase of Mac OS X includes a copy of Mac OS 9.2.
	From version 9.0.x of the system an upgrade should be available from the Apple web site at: http://docs.info.apple.com/article.html?artnum=75103
	Downgrade to FreeHand 10.0
