Next we have to represent the next layer of the bauble’s decoration, using the Ellipse Tool (U).
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Inner Shadow.
Apply Gradient Overlay:
Click in the color bar to open the Gradient Editor and set the color stops as shown. Click OK to close the Gradient Editor dialog box.
We’ve got the next result:
Take the same tool to draw the upper highlight on the bauble.
Set Fill to 35% for this layer.
Insert the mask on the same layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers panel and choose the Soft Round brush of black color (set Opacity to 10% in Options bar).
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the next zone on highlight’s layer as it is demonstrated on the picture:
Next we’ll represent a highlight on the right part, use the Ellipse Tool (U) to draw the first ellipse with white color. Press Alt button or select Subtract from shape area (-) from Options bar and draw 2 another ellipse to cut the highlight two times as shown.
Set Fill to 35% for this layer.
Insert the mask on the layer as we did in the previous example, when drawing the top highlight. Choose the Soft Round brush and paint in the mask to hide smoothly the last made highlight as shown.
Next we’ll draw the bauble’s support element, choose the Pen Tool (P), set the drawing mode on Shape Layers in Options bar and draw the next shape as shown. Place the layer under the previous made layers belonging to the ball.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Inner Shadow.
Apply Gradient Overlay:
Click in the color bar to open the Gradient Editor and set the color stops as shown. Click OK to close the Gradient Editor dialog box.
We’ve got the next result:
Now we’ll represent the next support’s element, using the earlier applied tools (Pen Tool (P)). Place the layer above the support’s layer, but lower than the ball’s layer.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Inner Shadow.

Click in the color bar to open the Gradient Editor and set the color stops as shown. Click OK to close the Gradient Editor dialog box.

Using the Ellipse Tool (U), we’ll represent a small ring on the support. For the beginning we’ll draw the first ellipse. Press Alt button or select Subtract from shape area (-) from Options bar and draw another ellipse to cut the middle part of the ring as shown. Place the layer under the layers containing the bauble and its support element.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Gradient Overlay.
Click in the color bar to open the Gradient Editor and set the color stops as shown. Click OK to close the Gradient Editor dialog box.
