In this tutorial we are going to practice some amazing Photo effects using Wacom tablet. Of course you will be able to do it with PC mouse. But graphic tablet will save you a lot of time.

So here we go.

This Photo is a Photo of famous Netherlands rock singer ? Anouk (all rights for the picture belong to www.Anouk.nl).

In this part it is very important to choose proper brushes ? so here are my settings for brushes.

I’m going to use ? Soft and Hard Round brush.

I want to begin by flipping the image horizontally.

Make a new layer (ctrl+alt+n) and set it’s mode to Overlay (overall Opacity +50 %), brush ? Soft (brush Flow = 5%-6%).

Paint all over the face picking colors from the image itself.

Here is where I have started: Further and further ? changing the skin tone like we want.

Change eye color. Use Brush modes and color:

Result:

Now I want you to create a new Top layer with Normal blending mode. When it is done, just paint with Normal Brush, set Flow about 5%-10 %.

Render the skin, beginning:

See how the skin becomes more and more matte.

Try to blend the tones as accurate as possible.

Let’s practice a little bit of make over (make new layer).

This is basically my first time I’m doing photo retouch. So I just can’t leave it without painting any foreign object.
