Make special effects – Jacinth Juice
In this tutorial we will learn how to make a wallpaper, that you can actually use in some ways, you can put It on the wall to fit the interior because it’s full of colors or you can use it to create a packing for shall we say – jacinth juice or whatever, let’s start to make this clear.
Create a standard size document. Start by filling the area with rounded gradients.
See the gradient settings on the image below.
That’s what happened – in 2 words we have 3 soft edged dots on the background.
Create a new layer and change the color of the gradient at the same time) : try to use layer blending modes to create interesting color variations.
The layer blending mode is set to vivid light to so we got vivid light gradient on vivid light layer duplicating the color exposure and the whole effect.
See the layer that is set to vivid light: I will add some layer styles to expose the colors even more:
Current logs: the color is good but still the objects are blurred and need some details, that is why I will draw some details.
You can now see some kind of star or whatever – this effect was done by just painting several strokes and applying radial – zoom blur on it.
Now you can just copy and transform the layer as much as you want.
Here are my effects:
Adding a little bit more color with any soft edged tool you want (gradient or a brush). I’m also beginning to search for the font I like but I will still deal with this in the end.
There in the lower right corner.
Now, this is still not good enough; I will create some custom brushes to paint the details fast.
I’ve
created some brush strokes – do remember to set the parameters to your
brushes: dual brushes can give beautiful pattern effects.
The effects:
One more:
Setting the brush angle jitter to – Direction will give you the control over the direction of the brush:
And
now I’m beginning to paint with my brush – over the left part of my
image (oh don’t get confused about the sides – because I’m flipping the
image about 20 times when I’m working over it).
I’m using my 1st brush.
Zoom in:
Darker on the bottom of the image:
Some highlights on the top:
And there we have it: I really felt that I should make that black line on side
Now final thing to do: is to paste some text. I will use AI (Adobe Illustrator) to do this: CS2 this time:
Here is my text work:
And this is it. See you next time!
