Drag content to Web pages in GoLive.

Moving content from the InDesign package preview to your GoLive Web pages is easy: you just click and drag. Any text blocks you drag onto a Web page become components in GoLive, so they automatically update if the text in your InDesign package changes. Images are converted to Smart Objects in GoLive. With Smart Objects, you can move, resize, or reoptimize an image on a Web page, without modifying the original image. GoLive keeps track of the original image, so any changes you make are automatically reflected in your Web site.

InDesign offers greater control over typography than CSS can support. To preserve text formatting not supported by CSS, such as text on a path, press Shift as you drag to convert the text to a Smart Object (graphic).
