Double-clicking on a FreeHand 10 file results in another
instance of FreeHand 10 being launched

Issue
While FreeHand 10 is already running on the Macintosh OS X, double-clicking on a FreeHand 10 document launches another instance of the FreeHand 10 application.

Reason The operating system determines whether a second instance of an application is launched after a document created by that application is double-clicked.

Solution Open the document from within the already-running instance of FreeHand 10 by choosing File > Open.

Note: Launching multiple instances of FreeHand 10 on OS X may cause unexpected behavior in FreeHand 10’s performance.
