Combine model shot and vectors to create a stunning photomontage in Photoshop CS5
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.
Place the adjustment layer under the model’s one.
Create a new layer and use on it the earlier Star 33 pixels brush of the color #F069F4 to represent many dots on the central part of the canvas. Place the layer under the model’s one.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Outer Glow.
Set the Blending mode for this layer to Hard Mix.
Create a new layer and use the Soft Round brush of the color #FF00CB (Opacity – 20%).
Use this brush to draw a kind of spot in the middle part of the canvas. The layer will be situated lower than the girl’s layer.
For the next step we’ll use the next vector – WG Funny Swirls from Vecteezy. Download the vector and insert it on our document. Place this layer under the model’s one.
Click on Add a layer style icon from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Bevel and Emboss.
We’ve got the next result:
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Hue/Saturation.
Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Hue of the color range.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between adjustment layer and the swirls layer in the Layers panel to create a clipping mask.
We’ve got the next result:
Try to rasterize the model’s layer now. In this case create a new layer above the model’s layer, select both layer using CTRL button then press CTRL+E to Merge Down. Also we have to insert the mask on the layer by choosing Add layer mask on the bottom part of the Layers panel and choose the Hard Round brush of black color.
Paint in the mask using this brush to hide the next zones on the girl, creating the effect of her presence inside the ornament.
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and select Hue/Saturation.
Drag the slider to the left to decrease the Saturation of the color range.
Hold down Alt (Windows) or Option (Mac OS) and click between adjustment layer and the model’s layer in the Layers panel to create a clipping mask.
We’ve got the next result:
Click Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.

Create a new layer and select the Soft Round brush of different diameter and white color (Opacity – 20%) to draw a luminescence on the indicated zones.

Click again Create new fill or adjustment layer from bottom part of the Layers panel and click to Curves to adjust the curve shape as shown to make a little color corrections.
We’ve got the next result:
On the next new layer use the Paint Bucket Tool (G) to fill it with #397688 color.
Set Fill to 24% for this layer and change the Blending mode to Hard Mix.
